Amazing Race

i thought i should mention this interesting race i attended with my NT students last week. We had fun and i thought it was quite a eye opener to see how other schools organised event like this..we didnt win anything but i think all of us had fun..  

Met up my NIE gals on tuesday.. goodness.. it has been a long long time since i met up with them..... we had our dinner @ a swedish rest located @ arab street.. It was a cool place to hang out with a cute hunk to look at too.. Updated each other with all the possible gossips and all the impossibles that can happen... n I lIke Fathiah's camera.. + QIURU's little baby is amazing..... she doesnt look like she is 6 mths preg!! hehe..

Not to forget my lovely.... bought her baby poster.. she is another mother who doesnt look like she is pregnant.. lol..

Attended my EBS sharing this noon @ MOE. met ppl whom i am not very enthusiastic to @@.. but well, at least for this sharing i was awaked for the entire 3 hours and it actually caught my interest. Unlike the usual DnT sharing which i ended up sleeping most of the time.... n well next wk will be the DnT review.. omgAud.. =p

Planned for level 1 rockclimbing certification for the teachers next week.. LOL.. Anticipating to get my level 1 cert.. i bet the teachers are too.. wahaha..

Mr Lim finally smsed me from the lovely country called turkey yesterdaY!!!! Feel lIke kicking him but i thought i miss him too.. LOL...

I LOVE PAY DAY.. need to get my bling bling for my staff dinner..... wahaha..

it has been a FREAKING long time since i blog.. if i am gg to blog everything down, i believe it will take up the entire webpage. haha..

its finally the school holidays - ehmm its a week ago but our Sec 3s are still having their extended curriculum. We still have to report at 8am daily till end of month.. Am thankful that the hectic weeks were over.. last month was maddness when i had to do all the work for my form class. And on top of that to settle the Open House training.. i think i had the "I AM TIRED" look on my face. hehe.. but well, great experience and its over..

Attended Wai Yi's wedding. Congratz gal... the food and ambience were great! not to mention, the company i had was great toO!..

Happy 4th Year anniversary to my dearest. the man who has always be with me when i am feeling down, happy, and frustrated. though we may have our differences and disputes.. he has been the one accomodating to my needs. =) thank you for being part of my life and i cherish this relationship dearly. =) big hugz..

Am currently working on the OPen House PART 2 and going to Pri schools around my cluster to do promotion.. wahahha. =p

bb is leaving for turkey tonight and yours truly will be freaking bored for the next 10 days... goodness...

month of november is still going to be a busy month as open house II, learning fest, celebration dinner for my Rock climbers, staff retreat will all happen this month..

ITS THE ONE WEEK HOLIDAY!!!!!

its a pretty short week with the teacher's day hol on tuesday. i thought that the week was pretty much taxing and tiring though it was only 3 short days.. mad rush for meetings and CCA plus preparing the second round of my lesson study.... glad that all were over..=) everything went on smoothly.. the next big thing will be my enterprise day project. I have another 2 more projects on hand to be completed by the end of the year.. my NT's 2D1N trip and my school's open house event.. perhaps one at a time..

Teachers' day celebration was good.. received many lovely gestures and loves from my students.. hee..

Staff day out to Macritchie and staff dinner by the poolside was fab too.. enjoyed the company of my colleagues.. =) shall wait for GG to send me the photos for the day out in macritchie!!!

after bbq, we went holland to chill out.. BUT this place had totally dampen our mood.....

one week hols is another busy week with N level invigilation plus attending seminar plus revising my exams papers plus own admin work.. hopefully keep myself refreshed for the final countdown to the term..

finally finish setting 2 business full papers.. keyed in all marks for CA.. wooo hoooo... busy week.. but at least time passes quickly... its teacher's day celebration on MONDAY!!!! we are having skiphaton  on Monday!!! my school is gg to skip our way to MONACO!!!! our buddy school for YOG 2010... told my form class i will join them in the skipping toO!!! hahaha.. they are simply amazing.. each class has to fulfill 30k times.. they have already completed 19K... WELL DONEEEE!!!!!

Meeting @ monfort on thursday.. rush back to school for vendor meeting till 6pm for my EBS field trip.. Swimming carnival on Friday - was cancelled after 6 events due to heavy rain... was dismissed earlier than expected.. students were elated.. so were the teachers!! wahaha.. =p had wonderful dinner with lili and faith.. omgaud.. gossips can really entertain us throughout mealtime and that really cheers me up after the busy and tiring week.

had a wonderful weekend with bf and besties... met up with bf @ cityhall after my sat remedial wif kids and amore.. didnt buy anything [thats really an acheivement!!] and had a great lunch with vivi and hubby @ YESS centre today.. the korean charcoal BBQ was fabulous.. 3 of us can finished 4 plates of bbq meat and chicken! wahaha.. even we found it amazing!

was notified the last min that i am selected to go for some SEL training for tml and tues... hopefully its an useful course... its the 3rd training i am going for within 2 months and next week am gg for teacher conference and 7th sept m going for CEP seminar... going for courses = more work for you.. =p

took over the form teachership for almost 2 weeks... not as easy like being a co form when i can still depend on someone to guide me.. everything is on my own.. i am really thnxful to have a lovely class who gives me their fullest support.. the greatest satisfaction for a teacher is when I @@ my students change.. a recent case allowed me to see something new and learn something from another perspective.. the SMS that my boy sent me was a great encouragement.. thnx you for telling me that my presence makes a difference..

finally, m looking forward to the teachers' day holiday when i can rot and rest happily.. organised a KTV session as promised for my neighbours @ happy town... wahaha.. we are so loving and looking forward to it!!! need colleagues like my neighbours to make me feel happy and motivated to come to work!
